Multiple units of the fire services and gardai are at the scene of an incident in Portlaoise this afternoon.
A fire has broken on the Borris Road this afternoon near Ashley Gardens.
It is understood that the fire was at the back of a row of houses and that damage was done to a number of sheds.
It is unclear at this stage what caused the blaze but it does not appear that anyone has been hurt.
