Christopher (Chris) Cuddy, Levenshulme, Manchester and formerly of St. Patrick’s Tce., Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. February 8th. 2019 (unexpectedly) in England. Predeceased by his Parents Christy and Mary (nee Phelan). Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving brother Michael, sister Pauline (Byrne), brother-in-law Pat, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, Mountrath this Friday evening (1st. March) from 6 o’c with rosary in the funeral home at 9 o’c. Removal on Saturday morning (2nd. March) at 11.45 o’c to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial immediately afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown.

Devoy, Liam (Kilnamanagh, Dublin 24 and formerly of Ballyadams, Co. Laois), February 27th, 2019 peacefully at Tallaght Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Beatrice and adored father of Lisa, Noelle, Martin and Patrick; sadly missed by his loving grandchildren Ciaran, Conor, Anna, Kate, Orla, Ciara, Eoin, Daniel, Aidan, Ronan, Demi, Dion and the late Aoife, sons-in-law Wayne and Derek, daughters-in-law Susan and Nicola, brother Noel, sisters Julia and Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Anna Bergin, Graigue, Mountmellick and formerly Treascon, Portarlington, Co. Offaly, died peacefully, February 27th, in the care of Dromnin Nursing Home, Stradbally (in her 90th year). Predeceased by her sister Una, brothers James and Gerard. Deeply regretted by her sisters-in-law Ann and Mary, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Thursday from 4.30pm with removal at 6.15pm to St Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick, arriving at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am and burial afterwards in St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Margaret Joyce (nee Erbach), Derrydavey, Mountmellick, Co. Laois and late of Chicago. Margaret died peacefully on February 26th 2019 under the tender care of the staff in Drominin Nursing Home, Stradbally. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Patrick, sons Brian, Pat, Kevin, John, daughters Mary, Theresa, Kathleen, Colleen, grandchildren and great grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces and nephews, her life long friend Joan and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Tuesday from 7pm with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Wednesday at 11:15am arriving St John’s Church, Killenard for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
