Have you had the dream of running a farm, well now is your chance. The Farmers Journal have advertised the position of Dry Stock Farm Manager on their own farm in Tullamore.
The 200 acre dry stock farm is used as a demonstration facility and consists of 100 spring calving beef herd and over 200 mid-season lambing ewes.
The farm has top class facilities and it hosts many demonstration and talks across the year for dry stock farmers.
The job roles include the day to day management of the dry stock farm which require excellent husbandry and stockmanship skills. A drive to grow both the physical and financial fronts of the farm is essential.
Due to the demonstration events, the successful candidate must possess the ability to host and present to an audience.
The applicants must have a proven track record in a similar job role or have the aptitude and enthusiasm to set up in the role.
