Ballard Lodge Nursing Home in Portlaoise made the announcement in a letter distributed this week.

Jack Chambers TD, Minister for Public Expenditure; National Development Plan Delivery and Reform, has confirmed that Portlaoise Garda Station is on course to be fully operational by the summer of 2027.
Under the new Garda Operating Model, Portlaoise Garda Station will be the Division Headquarters of Laois-Offaly, serving a population of approximately 200,000 people.
