In Pictures: Green is the colour as Vicarstown and Graigucuellen celebrate St Patrick’s Day

St Patrick’s Day is in full swing and our latest article contains pictures from Vicarstown and Graiguecullen.

Vicarstown held the honour of being the earliest parade in Laois for many years.

That was taken from them last year by The Heath who get underway at 8.45am.

But a 9am start is still very early – however – it didn’t deter the typically large crowd from gathering.

Two hours later, festivities continued in Graiguecullen as they got underway at 11am.

Always one of the bigger parades, clubs and organisations were extremely well represented.
