After a little bit of a hiatus, we are back with our LoveLaois Transition Year podcast series.
In the hotseat this week is Doireann Brennan from Portlaoise, who is in school in Presentation Thurles.
Doireann spent the first three years in Scoil Chríost Rí in Portlaoise before moving to the Tipperary school to link up with their highly-regarded soccer team.
She gets the train to Thurles every morning and has played with the school this year at both U-17 and U-19 level.
As if that wasn’t enough, she is also playing for Wexford Youths in the U-17 League of Ireland.
She chats about her training schedule, what it’s like changing schools, why she did Transition Year, her favourite subjects and her attitudes to spending, saving and social media.
