There were exceptional performances all around from local primary schools in the recently concluded annual People First Credit Union School Quiz.
The competition, held at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel on February 10, showcased the remarkable talents and intellect of young students from our community.
Gaelscoil Phortlaoise came out winners of competition A.
While the victors of Competition B and the trophy winners for 2025 are Shanahoe National School.
These talented teams have displayed exceptional knowledge, teamwork, and dedication throughout the competition, securing their places in the next stage.
The two teams now progress to “Stage 2” at the Chapter level, scheduled for March 7-9.
Gaelscoil Phortlaoise and Shanahoe National School will represent People First Credit Union with the hope of advancing to the National Final.
The Chapter level will witness the winners and runners-up of both competitions competing for the opportunity to showcase their intellect at the National level, scheduled for Sunday April 6.
Their success reflects not only their academic progress but also the support and guidance they receive from their teachers, parents, and the community.
