In her 90th year. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington. Loving wife of the late Harrold. Deeply regretted by her loving family; Mavis, Henry, Harrold, Norman and Neville, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Olga will repose at her daughter Mavis’s home (Eircode R32 CD40) Portnahinch, Portarlington, this Monday from 12 noon. Olga’s Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 2 o’clock in St. Kevin’s Church Clonbullogue, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

George died peacefully at the regional hospital Portlaoise in his 96th year. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Martha and his brother Allan.
Deeply regretted by his loving sister Kathleen (Whiteford), nieces Phyllis, Olive and Beatrice, nephews Thomas, Kenneth and Henry, extended family and friends.
Funeral arriving to St. Michael and All Angels Church, Abbeyleix on Tuesday 4th February for Service at 2pm. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Portlaoise Hospital, the Residence Portlaoise and a large circle of neighbours and friends for their kindness to George.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Carmel, family Patrick, Leona and Brenda, granddaughters Megan and Rachel, sons-in-law Jock and Brian, daughter-in-law Maire, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 Y640) on Monday afternoon from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 11am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Formerly of Boyle County Roscommon. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore.
Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary, brothers Liam and Michael. Sadly missed by her loving husband Brendan, daughters Grainne and Eimear, son Michael, sisters Margaret, Kathleen and Mary, aunts Annie and Patricia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence in Ullard Portarlington (eircode R32 Y9XO) on Sunday afternoon from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday morning at 11:15am arriving St John’s Church, Killenard (eircode R32 VW77) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Emily (Frances) Humphreys née Bradish. Mountmellick Co. Laois.
Emily (Frances) Humphreys on 30th January.
A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Humphreys. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her daughter Sandra, son-in-law George, grandchildren Austin, Graham and Lorna, and siblings, wider family and friends.
Funeral service on Tuesday 4th February at 2pm in St. Pauls Church of Ireland, Mountmellick. Burial immediately afterwards.

The death has occurred of Giovanni (Nino) Ciamberlano, 1 Glenregan, Portlaoise. Formerly of Partick Street, Mountmellick, born in Colle San Magno, Frosinone, Italia. Lovingly known to family, friends, and customers as “Nino”.
Passed away unexpectedly after an illness bravely borne at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Predeceased by his Mother Civita, and father Magno. Forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Stella, daughters Rosaria, Claudia, Silvia, and Cristina. His nephews Pepe and Rosario. His siblings Maria, Pompea, Adele,Rocco, and Antonio. Sons in law Antonio and Christy, partners James and Yvonne. Cherished by his grandchildren Fabio, Luca, Aoibhinn, Áine, Ruairí, Lana, and Daragh, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing Sunday 2nd February in Keegan’s Funeral Home, 1 Dublin Road, Portlaoise, R32W10E from 3pm with Rosary at 5pm.

Teresa Kealy (née Cranny)
Athy, Kildare/Ballylinan, Laois
Teresa Kealy (née Cranny) late of Enfield, London and formerly Ballylinan and Athy, passed away suddenly in the loving care of the staff of St. Theresas Care Home, Bush Hill Park, London.
Predeceased by her husband Sean and deeply regretted by her daughters Maria (Mitchell), Margaret, Michele and her son John. Grandchildren John, David, Lucy, Victoria and Harriet. Great grandchildren Zachary, Matilda, Joshua, India, Hudson and Finley. nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives, extended family and friends.
Teresa’s Requiem Mass in London will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. George, Enfield, on 29th January followed by repatriation from London to Athy.
Teresa will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mt. Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, from 2.30pm until removal at 4.30pm to St. Ann’s Church, Ballylinan, Co. Laois for reception prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 6th February, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
