The death has occurred of Giovanni (Nino) Ciamberlano, 1 Glenregan, Portlaoise. Formerly of Partick Street, Mountmellick, born in Colle San Magno, Frosinone, Italia. Lovingly known to family, friends, and customers as “Nino”.
Passed away unexpectedly after an illness bravely borne at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Predeceased by his Mother Civita, and father Magno. Forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Stella, daughters Rosaria, Claudia, Silvia, and Cristina. His nephews Pepe and Rosario. His siblings Maria, Pompea, Adele,Rocco, and Antonio. Sons in law Antonio and Christy, partners James and Yvonne. Cherished by his grandchildren Fabio, Luca, Aoibhinn, Áine, Ruairí, Lana, and Daragh, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, and friends.

Mary Tibble (née Bowe) , 18 Moore Street, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, January 30th. 2025, peacefully in the loving care of nurses and staff at Kilminchy Nursing Home Portlaoise. Predeceased by her beloved husband Geoff, her parents Paddy and Christina and brother Tom. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Richard and David, daughters Nicola and Anna-Marie, daughter-in-law Orla, sons-in-law David and Glen, her adored grandchildren Jamie, Anabel, Lilly, Kathleen, Esther and Pàraic, brothers Paddy, Johnny and Billy, sisters Esther and Maggie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, her good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence 18 Moore Street, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 X2W1) on Friday evening from 4 o’clock pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery.

Michael (Mick) Kelly
12 Kilkenny Road, Ballylinan, Laois, R14 RX07/Athy, Kildare
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of The Midlands Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Breda. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his sons Michael, Mark, Shane and Andrew, daughters Sharon and Emma, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his loving grandchildren, brothers and sisters, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence (R14 RX07) from 4pm on both Thursday and Friday afternoon with Rosary on Friday evening at 7pm. Removal at 10.40am on Saturday morning (February 1st) to arrive at St Anne’s Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballylinan Cemetery.
Teresa Kealy (née Cranny)
Athy, Kildare/Ballylinan, Laois
Teresa Kealy (née Cranny) late of Enfield, London and formerly Ballylinan and Athy, passed away suddenly in the loving care of the staff of St. Theresas Care Home, Bush Hill Park, London.
Predeceased by her husband Sean and deeply regretted by her daughters Maria (Mitchell), Margaret, Michele and her son John. Grandchildren John, David, Lucy, Victoria and Harriet. Great grandchildren Zachary, Matilda, Joshua, India, Hudson and Finley. nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives, extended family and friends.
Teresa’s Requiem Mass in London will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. George, Enfield, on 29th January followed by repatriation from London to Athy.
Teresa will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mt. Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, from 2.30pm until removal at 4.30pm to St. Ann’s Church, Ballylinan, Co. Laois for reception prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 6th February, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
