‘Measure for Measure’ – An exhibition of work by Stephanie Deady at Laois Arthouse Stradbally

Laois County Council Arts Office and the Laois Arthouse Stradbally are set to showcase an exhibition of work by artist Stephanie Deady.

This exhibition marks the end of a fruitful two-year artist residency at the Arthouse, awarded to Stephanie by Laois County Council.

The Laois Arthouse welcomes all who wish to attend the exhibition opening. Refreshments will be served.

The exhibition will be open to the public until Saturday, December 21 December.

Entrance is through the Laois Arthouse entrance on the Timahoe Roadd, Stradbally, R32KWX3.

Arts journalist Aidan Dunne says of Deady’s work: “Historically, in western painting, there is an art of drama and spectacle, and there is an art of quietness. The extrovert and the introvert.

“Stirring, dramatic events and moments of inner revelation. Stephanie Deady’s work is aligned with the latter, with interior life.”

Stephanie Deady, a native of Limerick, graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Limerick School of Art and Design.
