The death has occurred of Anne Cordial (née Fitzpatrick) Gash, Castletown, Co Laois and Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny.
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Nan passed away in the wonderful care of doctors, nurses and staff at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Saturday night.
Predeceased by her husband, Ned. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Margaret and Betty, her sister Bid Moore, son-in-law Mark, and her adored grandchildren Ben and Saoirse, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Brookhaven Oratory this Sunday evening from 6pm to 8pm with Rosary at 7pm.
Arriving for Mass at 12 noon on Monday to St. Edmunds Church, Castletown, Co Laois followed by internment in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath, Co Laois.
Elizabeth Srahan (née Carroll)
Meelick, Portlaoise, Laois
Elizabeth (Betty) Srahan, Meelick, Portlaoise. 10th October 2024. Peacefully died surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Joe and son Tom. Dearly loved mother to Marian, Lucia and Paul. Cherished grandmother to Kelan, Liz, Liam, Deirdra, Charlotte and Katie. And Great grandmother to Alice, Finn, Amelia, Hunter and Eleanor. Deeply regretted by her loving family. Sister, Lucy O`Hare. Sisters in law Nancy, Dolly, and Eileen. Son in law Eoin. Nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. And former colleagues in St Fintan’s Hospital.
Reposing at Keegans funeral home on Friday evening from 6.30 pm until 8 pm, with rosary at 7.30 pm . Removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 2.30 pm Requiem Mass. Interment in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery immediately afterwards. House Private please.
