Ciara Buckley and David Delaney have announce an upcoming project, ‘12’, which aims to explore addiction and celebrate recovery through various artistic expressions.
Scheduled for Spring 2025, the project will culminate in an exhibition and a programme of events at the Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise.
12 is an initiative that seeks to capture and share the stories of individuals who have experienced addiction, whether directly or through a loved one.
By utilising art, writing, storytelling, and photography, we aim to provide a platform for people to express their journeys, highlighting both the struggles and the triumphs of recovery.
“We invite you to be a part of this powerful narrative,” the pair said.
“Your personal stories and artistic contributions can make a significant impact, offering hope and insight to others who might be facing similar challenges.
“Whether you’re an artist, a writer, or simply someone with a story to tell, your participation is invaluable.
There are many ways to get involved and contribute to 12.
Ciara and David have asked those interested to reach out, assuring that all queries and submissions can remain confidential and anonymous.
