Yelps and cheers of delight filled the classrooms of Scoil Phádraig Naofa on Thursday, as the school premiered their brand new ‘Bodhrán Games’ music video.

Featuring a soundtrack of bodhráns performed by the students of 5th class, the ‘Bodhrán Games’ music video presents a series of clashes by rival 5th classes from the school in Mountmellick, all competing to win the ‘Bodhrán Games.’

Fifth class Teachers Robbie Eyers and Eddie McEvoy feature prominently in the games, and a cameo role by John Murrel, Principal, at the end of the video brings the games to a fitting close.

5th and 6th classes from Scoil Phádraig Naofa take part in weekly bodhrán classes with Music Generation Laois’ Dale McKay.

Terry Byrne from Music Generation Laois, worked with Dale McKay, students of 5th class and staff of Scoil Phádraig Naofa to create this music video.
