Competitors encouraged to enter Laois GAA and Camogie Poc Fada competition

The annual Laois GAA and Camogie Poc Fada competition will be held over a course in Mountrath Golf Club on the evening of Monday, June 10, at 7pm.

Those who enter will be split into two categories – Senior and U-16.

The winners will represent Laois in the Leinster Final which will be held on Mt Leinster in Carlow on Saturday, June 29.

Laois GAA secretary Niall Handy is encouraging anyone interested to take part.

He said: “We encourage all clubs to be represented on the night.

“Those who wish to take part should complete the link below or contact Laois GAA Office or Mattie Collier Coiste Iomana on or before Thursday, June 6.

“We also issue a reminder of some general information applicable to the evening:

“All participants, spotters, stewards etc must wear golf shoes or runners.

“Greens are out of bounds and people are asked to please respect the property of Mountrath Golf Club at all times.

“Refreshments and Presentation of Prizes will take place afterwards.”
