If you’re looking for a fun day out for all the family, why not head along to Clonenagh National School on Sunday, June 9.
The school will be hosting their Summer Fete on from 1pm to 5pm and entry is free.
The Fete takes place in the school grounds on the Portlaoise Road in Mountrath, with all funds raised going towards the school.
The school staff members will be serving tea and delicious treats in the school’s Tea Rooms throughout the afternoon
There will also be many exciting stalls and events to enjoy on the day, including:
- face-painting,
- pony rides (two sessions: 2pm and 3pm),
- penalty shoot-out contest,
- children’s play area,
- hang tough challenge,
- bric-a-brac stall,
- guess the sweets.
The sponge-throwing stall will return this year by popular demand.
Attendees will have the opportunity to throw wet sponges at some familiar local faces.
Throwing starts at 4pm.
It promises to be a fun day out for all the family.
