Gardai have issued an appeal for information following the disappearance of a Laois teenager.
Lorcan Meehan, 17, was last seen on Sunday night, May 5, at 11pm.
He was last seen on the Dublin Road in Portlaoise wearing a grey tracksuit, light blue t-shirt, white socks and runners.
Lorcan is around 5 foot 1 inches tall, has a slim build, blond hair and blue eyes.
Gardai are appealing for anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them.
They said: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Lorcan Meehan, aged 17 years, who was last seen at 11pm on Sunday night, 5th May 2024 on Dublin Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
“Lorcan is approximately 5 ft 1 inches tall with a slim build, blond hair, and blue eyes.
“He was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit, light blue t-shirt, white socks and runners.
“Anyone with information on Lorcan’s whereabouts is urged to contact Portlaoise Garda Station at 057 867 4100, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
