Car damaged and clubhouse smashed at Laois GAA club following Bank Holiday weekend attack

A Laois GAA club was the victim of vandalism following an attack at their premises on Bank Holiday Sunday.

Graiguecullen GAA club shared details of the incident on their social media channels this evening.

From pictures shared on social media, two windows in the clubhouse were smashed.

A car which was parked outside also had its window smashes in.

It is unknown if anything was taken or how many people were involved.

A statement on the Graiguecullen Facebook Page appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

They said: “If anyone has seen any activity or persons in the grounds and clubhouse of Graiguecullen GAA in the early hours of Sunday 5th/Monday morning the 6th between 1am and 6am Please contact Carlow Garda station on +353 59 9136620 to help with investigations.

“We appreciate your help and support at this time.”
