Seamus predeceased by parents Padraig and Brigid. Survived by his son David, sisters Geraldine and Mary, brother Fergus, brothers in law Gerard and Steve, sister in law Liz, nephews Fiach, Brion, Thomas and Cormac and Leicester Caelinn and Saorla, cousins and extended family.

Reposing Moloneys Funeral Home, Mountmellick Friday from 6pm. Prayers at 7.30pm Removal on Saturday morning at 9.45am to St.Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial after in St Josephs Cemetery.

Catherine Anne O’Brien (née Nolan)
Aughamaddock, Stradbally, Laois / Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary

The death has occurred of Catherine Anne O’ Brien (née Nolan), Aughamaddock, Stradbally, Co. Laois and formerly Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperary peacefully on the 2nd May 2024 in the excellent care of the nurses and staff in St. Martha’s Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, surrounded by her loving and devoted husband John and her family.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband John, daughter Maeve, sons Morgan and John, grandchildren Oisín, Clodagh, Fionn, Dylan, Conor, Deireann, Maeve, Aoife and John, son-in-law Enda, daughters-in-law Lisa and Colleen, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended families, neighbours and her many friends.

Catherine Anne will repose at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally from 6pm until 8pm this Friday evening with Recital of the Rosary at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally.

Tony Carter
Tullore, Ballyroan, Laois

Peacefully in the excellent care of the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Brigid, brothers John, Mikey, Paddy, Billy and Christy, sisters Mary, Rita and Josie. Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 2pm on Friday with prayers at 7 pm. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan on Saturday for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s.

Fintan Drennan
Ballinrally, Camross, Laois

Fintan Drennan, Ballinrally, Camross, Co.Laois. Died 1st May 2024, peacefully in the loving care of Brookhaven Nursing Home Ballyragget. Predeceased by his mother and father, brother Tim and his grand-nephew Joe. Deeply regretted by his sister Anna May, nephew Tim, wife Marguerite, grand- nephews, grand- nieces, great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Thursday evening (May 2nd) from 8.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 9.0’clock. Removal on Friday morning (May 3rd) to St. Fergal’s Church, Camross, for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Ballygill, Ballinasloe, Roscommon/Emo, Laois

Formerly of Morette, Emo County Laois. Suddenly. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret and sister Jackie. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters Audrey, Denis, Georgina, Stephanie and Thomas, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Wednesday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11:10am (travelling via Morette) arriving St Paul’s Church, Emo for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
