Formerly of Morette, Emo County Laois. Suddenly. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret and sister Jackie. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters Audrey, Denis, Georgina, Stephanie and Thomas, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Wednesday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11:10am (travelling via Morette) arriving St Paul’s Church, Emo for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Marian Moyna, Conoboro Rd., Rathdowney, Co. Laois, April 21st. 2024, peacefully at home. Predeceased by her parents Josie and Terry. Deeply regretted by her cousins John, Adeline, Brenda and Terry, extended family, neighbours and a close circle of friends.

Marie Collins (née Dooley)

The death has occurred of Marie Collins (née Dooley), Cloonarkin Drive, Oranmore and formerly of Ballacolla, Co. Laois.
Marie passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family on April 28th.
Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Timothy and her brother Tom.
She will be forever missed by her loving husband Tony; four children, Seán, Julie, Michael and Emma; cherished grandchildren Saoirse, Freya and Isla; son-in-law Ryan; brothers Jim and Noel; sister Sr. Kathleen PBVM; and her sisters-in-law Breda, Kay and Mary; together with her nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing Tuesday evening April 30th at Tearmann Mhuire, in the grounds of The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XC61, from 5 p.m. with removal 6.30 p.m. to the adjoining church and later to the family home. House private. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, May 1st at 1 p.m. with interment afterwards in Rinville Cemetery.

William (Bill) Hetherington, Quigley Park, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, April 29th 2024, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore.
Predeceased by his parents William and Mary, brother Seán and niece Àine. Bill will be sadly missed by his devoted brothers and sisters, Mary, Josie, Bernie, Breda, Margaret, Paddy and Paul, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney, (Eircode R32 NY24) on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem mass at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery.

Thomas Lawless. Ridge Road, Portlaoise,Co.Laois. Died April 26th 2024 unexpectedly. Predeceased by his recently deceased mother Christina and his niece Niamh.
Deeply regretted by his loving daughter Sarah, father Billy, sister Christine, brother Willie, sister in law Margaret, grandchildren Sam, Ollie and Ben, nieces Ciara and Roisin, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Tom Ryan of Portlaoise, formerly The Rower, Kilkenny, and Dublin. On April 28th 2024, Tom passed away peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Anne.
Loving father to Seán, Kevin and Donal. Cherished grandfather to Hannah, Rebecca and Sophia.
Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers Seamus and JohnJoe, daughters in law, Laura and Amber, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
He can be visited reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise, on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 7.30pm. Requiem mass will take place in Portlaoise at St Peter and Paul’s Church, 12 noon on Thursday, and can be attended online through https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam.
Cremation will follow in Mount Jerome around 3pm.
