There was a huge crowd in the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel on Saturday evening as Castletown held a 50 year anniversary celebration.
The dinner dance was well attended with music from the excellent Damien Bowe and The Vows.
Laois GAA chairman PJ Kelly was also present as the club presented medals to two teams.
Their victorious Division 4 league winning side and the minors who captured the league title.
The Paddy Cuddy Memorial Award was awarded to Ryan Peters as the best player who was in their last year of minor hurling.
Matthew Peters and Sean Hanlon Memorial Award was given to Aaron Phelan as the best U-23 player.
The main focus of the dinner dance was celebration 50 years since the club was formed.
Castletown have won a total of eight Laois Senior Hurling Championship titles since 1995.
They have also played in three Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship finals but lost all.
