Dolan, Breda (née Mulhare) (Late of Slemish Road, Dublin 7 and formerly of Stradbally, Co. Laois) – 21st of January, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of all the doctors and nurses in St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Predeceased by her brothers Michael and Brendan, sister Nina.
Beloved wife and soul mate of Con and cherished mother to Ciara, James, and Ana. Sadly missed by her loving family, Ciara’s partner John, sisters Toni, Margaret and Elizabeth, brothers Joe and David, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Mass to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Navan Road, Dublin 7 on Friday, 26th of January to arrive at 9.55 am for 10 am Requiem Mass. Cremation thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium for service at 12.30 pm.

Lila Lynch (née Nolan), Kiln Lane, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 22nd January 2024, at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by her loving by her family. Predeceased by her brother Peter.
Deeply regretted by her husband Bernie, sons Ray, Turlough and Darren, daughter Michelle, grandchildren Dylan and Chloe, nephews, nieces, brothers Ollie, Tim, Noel and John, sister Ann (Tobin), extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Tuesday evening (January 23rd) from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning (January 24th) to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath (eircode R32X338), for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fergal’s Cemetery, Camross.

David McDonald
Derrydavy, Mountmellick, Laois
David McDonald Derrydavy, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the care of the nurses and doctors in Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand.
Sadly missed by his loving partner Flavio Villani and his devastated parents Peter and Elsie. Adored by his sisters Anna, Lizzie and Orla.
His beloved nephews Billy and Jack and niece Lucy. Sadly missed by his bothers-in-laws John Ryan, John Kirwan and Gary Guilfoyle, his aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and vast circle of friends.
David will repose in his home (Derrydavy, Mountmellick R32 HD36) on Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th from 2pm with recital of The Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Friday 26th at 10.15am to St Joseph’s Church Mountmellick via The Rock arriving for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass followed by cremation at 2pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium Dublin D24 EP83.
Anyone who wishes to attend the crematorium is more than welcome.

Anthony Reddin, Triogue Place, Portlaoise. Died 21st January 2024. Peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Christina and sister Martina Sadler. Deeply regretted by his sons Pierce and Cole and their mother Elizabeth. His partner Margaret, grandchild Emily Rose, godchild Keelan, brothers, sister, uncle, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Tuesday evening from 6:30pm, until 8pm with rosary recital at 7:30pm.
Removal on Wednesday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 12 noon requiem mass followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the friends of the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Wednesday from 7pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 12 noon requiem mass followed by cremation to Newlands Cross Crematorium.
Ann Holohan (née Kane)
Springfield, Ballyfin, Laois
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Tallagh University Hospital Dublin.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband P.J., her sons Patrick, Damien, Paul and Martin and her daughter Sharon. Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brothers, sisters, her adoring grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Predeceased by his parents John and Alice, sisters Kitty (Cumiskey), Mave and Bredge, brother in law Harry, sister in law Brighid (McLoone). Sadly missed by his brother Paddy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnephews, many relations and friends, his confreres and the staff in Miguel House Care Home.

TYNAN, James (Jim) – 19th January 2024 – (Clondalkin formerly of Clonaslee, Co. Laois and Semperit and Gaelscoil Chluain Dolcain). Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Moyglare Nursing Home, Maynooth. Predeceased by his brother Michael and sister, Sr. Claire.
Beloved husband of Vera and much loved father to Joe, Ann, Stephen and Fiona. Jim will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, his 13 adored grandchildren, sons in law, daughters in law, sister Sheila, extended family and friends.
Reposing at his home on Sunday, 21st January, between 4pm – 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, 22nd January, at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin with burial thereafter in Newlands Cross Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Lacey, Rosemount, Newpark, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Old Mills, Stradbally, Co. Laois. Peacefully at Ardkeen Hospital, Co. Waterford on 19th January 2024.
Deeply regretted by his cousins and his very good friends and kind neighbours. Reposing at the Presentation Chapel, Stradbally on Saturday, 20th January, from 5pm to 8pm, with recital of the rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Sunday, 21st January, at 7pm to arrive at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Luggacurren for prayers at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass for Patrick on Monday, 22nd January, at 11am in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Luggacurren and afterwards Patrick will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Ballyadams.

Reposing at her home at 30 Grenville, Portloaise (R32 C8NP) on Sunday evening from 5,00pm to 7.00pm. Private removal on Monday morning at 11.30am arriving in St. Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Cremation to take place afterwards in Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare.

Died in Belgium on January 16. Funeral taking place in Belgium on Monday at 11am. Patrick will be remembered at 10am mass in SS Peter and Paul’s Church in Portlaoise this Monday, January 22.
