Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Cloverlodge Nursing Home, Athy. Wife of the late David. Deeply regretted by her loving nephews Tom and his wife Louise and James and his wife Síle, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Rigney’s Funeral Home, Athy on Friday evening (Sept. 22nd) from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Barrowhouse for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s New Cemetery, Athy.
Christina Kelly (née Bowe)
Stillorgan, Dublin / Glasnevin, Dublin / Rathdowney, Laois
Christina Kelly (née Bowe), late of Stillorgan and formerly of Glasnevin Hill, Co. Dublin and Graigue, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, died peacefully on 20th September, 2023, in the wonderful care of Kinvara House Nursing Home, Bray and surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Philip, cherished Mum of Rosemary, Frances, Philip, Enda and Gráinne, dearly loved by her 28 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, lovingly remembered by her sons-in-law Seán and Pat, daughter-in-law Martina, Enda’s partner Brona, sister-in-law Maureen, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her son-in-law Patrick.
Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Friday (22nd September) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (23rd September) at 10.00am in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
Denise Delaney (née Reynolds)

Denise Delaney (née Reynolds), Kiln Lane, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 19th September 2023, peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her father Liam. Beloved wife of John, dear mother to Rachel and Ruth, sadly missed by her loving family, mother Detta Reynolds, sisters Anne, Lorraine and Helen, brother David, grandson Séan, partners Andrew and Dillon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath (eircode R32Y661) on Thursday evening (21st September) from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Friday morning (22nd September) to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath (eircode R32X338), for Requiem Mass at 10.’Clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Kevin McEvoy, Killeshin Road, Graiguecullen, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on September 19th 2023, at The Mater Hospital, Dublin.
Beloved husband of Deborah, much loved father of Keelin, adored son of John and Elizabeth and cherished brother of Peter, Eóin and Sarah..
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, parents, brothers, sister, mother-in-law Carmel, sisters-in-law Martina and Joanna, brothers-in-law Paul, John and Darren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home, Killeshin Road, Graiguecullen, Carlow (Eircode R93 A0V3) on Thursday from 3pm, concluding with Prayers at 8.30pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Friday at 2.30pm in St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, followed afterwards by Funeral to Killeshin for burial.

GAVIN JOHN YOUNG, London and late of Newpark Portlaoise. Passed away peacefully after a short illness 0n 1st September 2023 in the wonderful care of North Middlesex Hospital Enfield.
Cherished son of Colman and Ann Young. Loving father to Joseph Murphy Young. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sister Sophie, brothers Brian and Neil, also Claire and Iseult. Sadly missed by his uncles and aunts, cousins and many friends and kind neighbours.
Cremation took place in London. Requiem Mass will take place in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, at 12 noon on Saturday, September 30th.

Predeceased by his brothers Patrick, Dennis and Thomas, sisters Sheila and Teresa. Peacefully in her 94th year surrounded by her loving family at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her loving husband Dermot. Deeply regretted by her family Jim, Seán, Anne Marie, Gerri and Barry, daughters in law Betty, Mary and Emer, sons in law Paul and Gabby and sister in law Kathleen. Cherished Nanny to her 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Eleana, Tommy, Áine, Barry and Ada, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at her son Jim’s residence in Dunmore (R32 V045) on Wednesday 20th September 2023 from 4pm – 8pm, Thursday, 21st September 2023, from 4pm with recital of Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co. Laois on Friday, 22nd September 2023, at 2pm with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
