Rosaleen (Rosie) McDonagh 23 Blueberry Hill, Esker Hills, Portlaoise, died 30th of August following an accident. Dearly loved daughter of Bernard and Victoria and dear sister to Bernie, Julia, Valerie, Priscilla and Jolene. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken parents, brother and sisters, grandparents Willie and Winnie McCarthy and Bernard and Margaret McDonagh, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours, relatives and her many friends.

Henry Tobin . Elmlawn Mountmellick Rd., Portlaose and formerly Boreenmanna Rd., Blackrock, Cork City. Aug 30th 2023 Peacefully at home in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his daughter Sharon. Dearly loved husband to Mary. Loving father to Susan, Catherine, Tracey, Nicola, Ciera, Henry, Rachel, Aideen. Cherished grandfather. Deeply regretted by his brothers Barry and Michael. Sister Catherine. Sons in law, Brothers in law, Sisters in law. The Farrell family. Nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence from 4 pm on Friday with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 2 pm requiem mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery.
Séan (Jack) Sheehan
Clonskeagh, Dublin / Abbeyleix, Laois
Sheehan, Séan (Jack) – (late of Clonskeagh, Dublin and formerly of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois) 29th August 2023 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff in the Beacon Hospital after an illness so courageously borne. Predeceased by his brother Fr. Joe and sisters Maura, Fran and Kitty. Beloved husband of Ann and treasured and loving father of Rory and Cróna. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sister Joan, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home on Friday afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning (2nd September) to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am (which can be viewed live on this link https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/) followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park.

Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Mick and Lil and uncle Tommy. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Elizabeth and Cathy, brothers Jimmy, Tommy and Eddie, niece Orlaith, nephews Thomas, Dylan, Sean and Rian, brother-in-law Thomas, sisters-in-law Dolores, Siobhan and Breda, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 XN57) on Thursday evening from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 11:15am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Sandra Kuzmecka
Glenkeen Park, Fairgreen, Portlaoise, Laois
Passed away peacefully in Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Much loved daughter of Dorota and gone to join her loving father Jacek in Heaven. Sandra will be sadly missed by her brothers Lucas and Sabastian, by all her friends and her teachers at St.Francis School, Portlaoise and by her extended family, relatives and friends.
Sandra’s Requiem Mass will be held (in Polish) at 12 noon on Saturday, September 2nd, at SS. Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise with burial afterwards in SS. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.
