First Ireland Spirits are currently recruiting for the following vacancy in the Production Team.
Process Team Lead
Based in Abbeyleix the main duties of the role are:
- Responsible for managing one of our manufacturing teams on a 2 shift x 5 day week cycle.
- Ensure effective implementation of the agreed production plan ensuring deviations from the plan are flagged and investigated, to ensure root cause identification.
- Operator training and team development
- H&S compliance in your area and within your team.
- Continuous Improvement leader / champion
- All products produced to specification.
- Good communication and feedback.
- Full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and should be familiar with following hygiene and food safety requirements along with having good organisational and communication capabilities.
Key requirements for this role:
The ideal candidate will have a suitable qualification in science or engineering. Previous experience in an Alcoholic beverage or food manufacturing setting is desirable. Previous people management experience.
Candidates must be eager to learn, show initiative and enthusiasm, a people leader, be computer literate and possess excellent time management and communication skills.
