There is deep sadness in Ballyfin and The Heath this week following the passing of Patricia ‘Pat’ Lambe (nee Lambe).
Living in Ballydavis but originally from Ballyfin, Mrs Lambe passed away on Tuesday, June 6.
Beloved wife of Micheal, Pat is the dearly loved mother to Joseph, Michael, Elaine, Christine and Brendan. Cherished grandmother to Molly, Emelia, Jonah, Matthew, Ben, Ada and Evan.
She is deeply regretted by her loving family; brothers George, Austin and Joe, sisters Mary, Breda and Catherine, sons in law Donal and Sam, daughters in law Karen, Claire and Lucy, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Heavily involved in The Heath Golf Club where both her and her husband Michael are fine golfers, Pat was a strong supporter of Ballyfin GAA.
And Ballyfin paid tribute to her on their Facebook page.
They said: “Very Sad news came to us from The Heath today as we learned of the passing of Patricia ‘Pat’ Lambe RIP.
“One of life’s finest people, she was a lady and a very proud supporter of Ballyfin.
“Our Deepest Sympathies go to both the Lambe and Lanham Families at this sad time.”
Mrs Lambe will be reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on this evening (Thursday) from 6pm with rosary at 8pm.
Her funeral wull be arriving at The Church of the Assumption, The Heath on Friday at 10am.
Live stream is available on https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/the-heath-webcam/. Interment will follow in the adjoining churchyard.
May Patricia Rest in Peace.
