Predeceased by his father Thomas (Tom) and brother Oliver. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Kit (nee Guilfoyle), sister Hilda (Kavanagh) his brother in law and dear friend Richard, nephews Liam, Kurt and Luke, nieces Megan, Bonnie, Laoise, Annie, Scarlett and Holly, aunts, uncles, cousin and best friend Ollie Phelan and girlfriend Caroline, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family after an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her parents Bridget & Festy and her brother Michael. Deeply regretted by her loving husband and best friend Jerry, daughters Julie, Claire, Donna & Elaine, her son Paul, daughter in law Stephanie, sons in law Martin & Glyn, grandchildren Chloe, Jack, Seán, Ella, Caleb, Laoise, Saoirse, Éabha, Charlie and Anna, great-grandchildren Frankie & Culainn, Sisters Ann & Bridget, brothers Feichin, Johnny, George, Martin & Philip, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a huge circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence in St. Fergal’s Park, Ballacolla (R32 RX80) on Thursday evening from 4.00pm with Rosary at 8.00pm. Removal from her residence on Friday morning for Requiem mass at 12.00noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballacolla, followed by burial in St. Fergal’s Cemetery. House private on Friday morning, family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Laois Hospice. Rafter Vanda. “Ardville” Glenside. Abbeyleix rd. Portlaoise. February 7th 2023 Unexpectedly at the Midlands Regional Hosp. Portlaoise. Predeceased by her darling husband David. Also her mother Esther and father in law Martin. Deeply regretted by her adoring children Stefan and Amy. Stefans partner Jennifer. Her loving father Les. Sisters Philomena, and Rita. Her brothers Les(Jnr), and Clive. Her much loved nieces and nephews, Grandnieces and Grandnephews, Cousins and her aunts Vanda and Christine. And her dear sister in law and friend Martina. Vanda will be dearly missed by her heartbroken mother in law Betty Rafter . Her sisters in law and brothers in law. Her neighbours, work colleagues and a large circle of friends. McCarthy, Mary (née Comerford) (Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and formerly of Portlaoise), February 6th, 2023, peacefully in the wonderful care of the Mater Private Hospital and Professor Denise Sadlier, beloved wife of the late Dr. Donal and loving mother of Geraldine, Donal and Elaine. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law Dermot and David, daughter-in-law Barbara, her treasured grandchildren, Maeve, Grace, Dermot, Maya, Donal and Patrick, great-grandchildren, Finn and Zoe and their father James, Grace’s fiancé Philip and extended family and friends.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Thursday (9th February) from 5pm to 7pm. Margaret McEvoy (née O’Neill), Windsor, Coolrain, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, and late of Clondalkin, Dublin. Died 6th February 2023, at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Kieran, mother to Kevin and Cathy. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, grandson Jordan, brothers, sisters, extended family, relatives and friends.
Removal on Thursday morning to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2.30 p.m.
