SHAW (née Walker), Ethel, (Glasnevin, Dublin, formerly of Blackrock, Dublin and Portarlington, Co. Laois) on 21st November 2022, aged 97 years, (peacefully) at home. A lady of many words, kind-hearted and warm, with a great sense of humour. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Dearly loved and very sadly missed by her sons and daughters, Tony (wife Martina), Helena (who cared for Ethel and Jim at home), Jimmy, Brenda (husband John Beausang) and Graham (partner Andrea Schwemmer). Devoted grandmother of Luke, Joe, Rebecca and Finnen. Also missed by her brother-in law Liam, sisters-in-law Ann, Eileen and Ida, extended family, carers, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, D09 C8P5, on Thursday evening, November 24th, from 7pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning, November 25th, at 10am at the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin (near Botanic Gardens), followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium at 11.30am approximately.

Bill Sherlock
London and late of Eyne, Portlaoise, Laois
The death has occurred of Bill Sherlock, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Trinity Hospice, Clapham.
Remembered with love and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Olive (Joyce), his sister Bridie, his brother Mick, his sisters in law, brothers in law, goddaughter, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents, his sister Helen and brother in law Ron.

ARCHBOLD Fr. Sean (John J) OMI November 17th, 2022, late of St Patrick’s Basilica Fremantle W Australia and formerly of Belcamp College Dublin, St. Michael’s Parish Inchicore, House of Retreat Inchicore, and Portlaoise Co Laois. Peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of the staff at Joseph Cooke House Nursing Home, Perth W Australia. Sean was predeceased by his parents Richard (Dick) and Annie and brothers Tom and Frank. Sadly missed by his sister Ann, brother Noel, brother-in-law, sisters- in- law, nieces, nephews grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great- grandnieces.
Fr. Sean’s funeral will be streamed live from St Patrick’s Basilica Fremantle on Monday, November 28th, 2022, commencing at 5.45am Irish time with burial thereafter in the Oblate plot in Fremantle Cemetery. (Fondly know as 3 o’clock Harry). Formerly of Kinsealy, Dublin. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore. Loving husband of the late Sarah (Sadie) and dear brother of the late Angela. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Sharon and Fiona, son Harry (jnr), sisters Margaret, Dolores, Bernadette and Rita, brother Noel, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Wednesday evening from 7pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday at 1:10pm arriving Newlands Cross Crematorium for cremation service at 2:40pm.
