Heywood Community School in Ballinakill are hosting an Open Night and Presentation for incoming First Years for 2023-24 on Thursday, October 13, from 7-9pm.
The open night for prospective students and their parents/guardians will feature an address from principal Philip Bowe at 8pm and the event will include

Important dates to remember
- October 17 – The school will commence accepting applications for admission
- November 7 – Closing date for applications for admission
- November 28 – Notification of decision on application
- December 12 – Applicants must confirm acceptance of offer by 4pm
Applicants are asked to return completed admission form with copy of Birth Certificate, psychological report (if applicable) and student services and extra-curricular fee of €100 (cheque or postal order made payable to Heywood Community School).
