Forest Fest, a new three-day music festival in Emo, gets underway tomorrow evening and as the crowds set to flock to the small village, we’ve a couple of bits of useful information.
Big match on the big screen
In response to festival fans anxious to see the All-Ireland Football Final between Galway and Kerry the festival organisers can confirm that they will be showing the Big Match on the Big Screen at the festival site on Sunday – with full bar refreshments and food court also available nearby.
Fold-up camping chairs are permitted
Following requests from fans and further review, the organisers have said that fold-up canvas camping chairs are permitted at the festival for your comfort and convenience.
“We would of course ask all fans to remove and take home their chairs each day as part of our Leave No Trace policy at Forest Fest.”
Payment by Cash or Card
Bars and vendors at Forest Fest will take payment by cash or card. Be advised that there’s no ATM available on site or in the village.
Breakfast at Batonis
There will be coffee dock style service in the camping areas but in addition the Forest Fest team have laid on a breakfast service at Batonis Restaurant (right at the cross-roads in the middle of the village).
Breakfast is available on Saturday and Sunday mornings, until midday, €15 full Irish, and €12 for a mini breakfast.
