Laois National Lottery players have been urged to check their tickets as someone in the county is €1 million richer.
National Lottery chiefs have confirmed that a winner of the Daily Million draw has been found in Laois.
The ticket was sold here for the winning draw and the location of the winning store is set to be revealed today.
Daily Million draws take place twice a day, seven days a week at 2pm and 9pm and costs just €1 per play.
The winner has become the 22nd National Lottery millionaire of 2022.
The winning numbers in Sunday’s (10th July) 2pm Daily Million draw were: 02, 05, 13, 19, 28, 35 and the bonus was 17.
A spokesperson said: “The National Lottery has urged Daily Million players in Laois to check their tickets carefully as Sunday’s top prize winner is yet to come forward.
“The weekend winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.
“They should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.
“Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language.
“In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago.
“In 2021 alone, €289 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.”
