Noel Thomas Patrick O’Shea
Upper Main Street, Abbeyleix, Laois
Loving husband of his late wife Emily nee Ryan. Adored father to his only daughter Teresa and son-in-law Peter, brother to Joe, Kevin, Mick, Ann, Maura, John and Eddie, sisters-in-law Bridie, Ann and Alice, brothers-in-law Pat and Roy.
Reposing in the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, on Tuesday from 6.30pm with prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in the Church of The Most Holy Rosary at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
PJ Comerford
Castlecuffe, Clonaslee, Laois
PJ Comerford, Castlecuffe, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died, unexpectedly, on the 12th of March 2022. Deeply regretted by his wife Norah. Dearly loved father of his sons Thomas, Patrick, Stephen, John and Martin and his daughters Ann-Marie and Jennifer, and fondly remembered by their partners. Cherished grandfather “Pops” to Katie, Aaron, Ava, Xavier, Jack and Sophia. He will be sadly missed by his brother Tom, his sisters Kathleen and Angela, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence on Monday from 2pm until Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 11:30am arriving to St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. Bernie Wilson (née Dowling)
O’Moores Forest, Mountmellick, Laois/Ballyfin, Laois
Bernie died, peacefully, after a long illness, borne with great dignity, in Chonley Hospital, England. Predeceased by her daughter Siobhan and her brother Michael and sister Patsy. Bernie is survived by her husband Wil, son Sean, daughter-in-law Andrea, her two adored grandchildren, sisters, Margaret, Mary and Dolores and her brother John, relatives and her many friends.
Helen Woods (née O’Sullivan)
Carrigan St, Durrow, Laois
Peacefully at her residence. Predeceased by her husband John and sister Peggy. Deeply regretted by her loving children Brian, Anne, Dermot, Tracey and Sean, sisters Kitty and Joan, brother Michael, son in law, daughter in law, sisters in law, brothers in law, grandchildren Sarah, Emma, James, Marie, Conn and Cillian, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence from 2.00pm to 7.00pm on Monday with Rosary ay 7.00pm. Requiem Mass in Holy Trinity Church Durrow on Tuesday morning at 11.00am. Removal immediately afterwards to the Island Crematorium Cork for service at 3.00pm.
