The draws for the upcoming rounds of the Laois football championships have been made.
Following the conclusion of the Round 3 games in this SFC this evening, the quarter final draw has now been made.
Champions Portarlington will play Stradbally in two weeks time while 2019 champions Portlaoise will meet O’Dempsey’s.
The other games will see Ballyroan-Abbey play Courtwood and Graiguecullen meet Emo.
Quarter-final draw
- Portarlington v Stradbally
- Ballyroan-Abbey v Courtwood
- O’Dempsey’s v Portlaoise
- Graiguecullen v Emo
The pairing for the relegation final in the SFC is also known following today’s semi finals with Ballylinan taking on The Heath to see who will make the drop to intermediate for the 2022 season.
Meanwhile, a draw was not needed for the semi finals of the IFC as repeat pairings are avoided.
Park-Ratheniska had already played Timahoe so they now face Arles-Kilcruise in one semi final with Mountmellick taking on Timahoe in the other.
Seven of the eight quarter final places in the JFC are now confirmed too after the weekend.
Group A ended in a three way playoff but Castletown have already given a walkover to Portarlington.
The latter will now face The Harps in the final playoff game with the winner taking on Ballyroan-Abbey.
The Harps will be favourites to do that as they enjoyed a big win over Portarlington in their last group game a few days ago.
