Michael O’Dea, Uxbridge, England and formerly Clonmeen, Errill, Co. Laois. August 10th, 2020. Predeceased by his father John, his mother Teresa and his brother Kieran. Peacefully following a long illness. Deeply regretted by his family, Ann, Derek, Ciara and Ronan, grandchildren Dylan and Ava, brothers Sean and Patrick, sisters Maryann, Ann, Catherine, Teresa and Ellen, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 19th, at 11:30 at The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Michael’s, Uxbridge followed by cremation at Breakspear Crematorium at 12:30pm. Father Patrick (Pat) BREEN C.C. Timahoe, Co Laois and formerly Derrykearn, Raheen, Co Laois. Passed away peacefully, 13th August at The Ballard Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his sister Ina Reilly and his niece Heather, extended family, relatives and his many friends. He is fondly remembered in the parishes of the diocese where he served so faithfully and was deeply appreciated, Rathoe, Broadford, Clonaslee, St Mullins and Timahoe. Bishop Denis Nulty and the priests of the diocese mourn his loss.

Reposing at St Michael’s Church, Timahoe (Co. Laois) from 12noon until prayer service at 7:30pm on Friday the 14th. Funeral Mass will take place at 2pm on Saturday in St Fintan’s Church, Raheen, Abbeyleix, interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings please adhere to current H.S.E guidelines in the church and in the cemetery. Fr Pat’s Funeral will be streamed live HERE.
Mary Brady (née Graham)

Formerly Ballydavis, The Heath Portlaoise. Mary passed away peacefully at her residence in the company of her loving and devoted family. Predeceased by her husband James (Squeak). Greatly and sadly missed by her daughter’s Mary and Susan, sons Seamus, Richard, Paul and Conor. Sadly missed by her daughter’s in-law Ann, Marie, Denise and Catherine, son’s in-law Peter and Tom, grandchildren, brothers Peter, Jim, Donal, Johnny and Paddy, sisters Pauline, Susan, Christina, Ann and Joan, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, Neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Richard and Kevin.
May Mary Rest In Peace. Private family funeral. Covid 19 protocol in place. Social distancing to be observed. Memorial mass will be organised at a later date. Requiem mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by Interment in Oakvale cemetery. Requiem mass will be live streamed on Whelehan Funeral Director’s Facebook page.

Kenna, Chicago, Illinois, USA (formerly The Swan Road, Durrow, Co. Laois. Sean in his 85th year passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his brothers Seamus, Tom and Michael and sister in law Ellie. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Esther, sons Dan, John, Tommy and Stephen, sisters Carmel and Bonnie, brothers in law John and Brendan, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and a large circle of friends RIP.
Funeral will take place in Chicago, Illinois, USA. A memorial Mass will be offered in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow in the forthcoming weeks.
Sean was a proud Durrow man who loved to come home to his native town to spend time with his family and friends.

Kathleen Casey, (née Bentley), S.R.N. S.C.M. Mountrath, Co.Laois, formerly of Arklow, Co.Wicklow, August 10th 2020 (peacefully). Dear wife of the late Joseph and mother of the late Michael. Much loved mother of Esther, Richard, Dominic, Joseph and Timothy, loving grandmother of Siobhán, Seosaimhín, Dáire, Kate, Eoin, Niamh, Shane and Calum. Sadly missed by her extended family, daughters-in-law Peigí, Siobhán, Fiona, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
