Peacefully in the exemplary care of Miriam, Bernadette, Dr. Kennedy, Nursing and Care Staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget. Beloved husband of the late Mabel (nee Rountree), much loved father of William, Shirley, Audrey, Randal and Geoffrey; sadly missed by daughters-in-law Wendy and Linda, son-in-law Jim, grandchildren Rowena and husband James, Naomi, Aubrey, Alyssa and Estelle, great-grandson George, loving sister Betty and by a wide circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by brothers Samuel and Percy.
Due to current government guidelines a private Service will take place on Tuesday in St. Fintan’s Churchyard Durrow.

Kennedy, John, Dunmasc, Portlaoise and formerly Kennedys Chemist, Main St., Portlaoise, August 8th 2020. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of the staff of St Brigid’s Hospital, Shaen. Sadly missed by his loving wife Ita, daughters Jean, Anne, Grainne and Fionnuala, sons Paul and Enda, daughter in law Helen, sons in law Frank, Philip and Alain, grandchildren Jean, Sean, Ellen, Liam, Aine, John, Aidan and Ciara, relatives and friends.
Given the current exceptional circumstances and to protect the welfare of everyone who knew him, a private funeral, with immediate family only, will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise and will be streamed on the webcam http://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/web-cam/.
Burial afterwards in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Danny Kinahan, Cuan Bhríde, Rathdowney and formerly Lyrogue, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. August 5th 2020. Unexpectedly at his home. Deeply regretted by his brother John, Sister-in-law Margaret and his brother Pat and sister-in-law Una, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Due to the current renewed COVID-19 restrictions for Co. Laois, Danny’s funeral will be restricted to family and close relatives only. Danny’s family thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time. For the purposes of the streaming facility at the Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney the funeral day and mass time will be announced later.

O’Neill (nee Conroy) Rathnamanagh, Portlaoise. August 7th 2020. Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. In her 90th year. Theresa, beloved wife of the late Tim. Predeceased by her husband, daughter-in-law Mary and grandson Cathal. Dearly loved mother to Mary, Brian, Diarmuid, Tadhg and Gordon. Cherished grandmother to her grandchildren and great-granddaughters. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law Martin, daughters-in-law Aki, Paula, and Ailish, nephews, nieces, relatives and neighbours and friends.
