The football is really cranking up a few notches this weekend with two conclusion of two competitions and semi finals in another.
We have two county finals down for decision on Saturday and then two senior semi finals.
On Saturday, we’re in O’Moore Park for a double header of championship final action.
In the Junior decider, Castletown take on O’Dempsey’s while then in the Intermediate, neighbours Clonaslee and Rosenallis will meet.
After that on Sunday, we have the two senior semi finals where one club will reach the final for the first time ever.
Up first, three in a row searching Portlaoise will face Portarlington while then it is the clash of first time semi finalists Ballyfin against Killeshin.
In the absence of regular host Steven Miller, Alan Hartnett steps into the hot seat as the host.
He is joined by Mountmellick footballer and hurler Bernard ‘Bman’ Rochford makes his podcast debut.
A former Rose of Tralee host and Snapchat sensation – milk farmer Rochford is one of the most stylish farmers around with his perfectly manicured beard and his sparkling white teeth earning him a spot on Laois’s Hottest Farmers list.
He reflects on an eventful year for Mountmellick which saw them reach the semi final in the Intermediate semi final in both hurling and football.
The lads also preview all of the games and predict who they think will win.
