Two Laois shops go to HELL & BACK for Pieta House

Two Londis stores from Laois took part in HELL & BACK in Killruddery Estate, Bray, Co Wicklow recently in aid of Pieta House.

More than 200 Londis retailers and staff undertook the challenge on 15th June last to raise funds for the Londis charity partner Pieta House.

Since 2016 Londis has donated more than €300,000 To Pieta House through a variety of fund-raising initiatives.

The first of the Laois stores to take part was Watchorne’s Londis Mountmellick with Edel Watchorne leading the way.

Flynn’s Londis in Clonaslee also joined in and got stuck into the mud.

HELL & BACK, Ireland’s Toughest Mental & Physical Endurance Challenge, is the country’s largest and most popular obstacle course run.

To survive, you must conquer all the elements thrown at you, whether that is the temperamental weather conditions, the gruelling natural environment or the torturous man-made obstacles.
