Laois senior hurling manager Tommy Fitzgerald has named his team for their Joe McDonagh Cup opener against Westmeath.
Laois are at home for the first game on Saturday in O’Moore Park at 3pm.
And ahead of the game, Laois appear to have recovered the majority of the players who picked up injuries during the National League.
Cha Dwyer and Paddy Purcell have been named to start after missing the last couple of rounds of the league.
Eanna Lyons has returned to the bench while there is also a start for Slieve Bloom’s Ben Conroy.
He came on as a sub against Offaly in Round 1 of the league and injury ruled him out after that.
There is one big name missing as Borris-Kilcotton’s Aaron Dunphy is out through injury and doesn’t make the 26.
While Eoin Gaughan, who started against Dublin, and Colin Byrne, who came on, aren’t in the 26 either.
Laois have five U-20s on their panel and they face a Leinster preliminary quarter final against Kildare next Wednesday.
But just two of them could be involved here as Tom Cuddy and Jer Quinlan have been named to start.
LAOIS: Cathal Dunne (Clough-Ballacolla); Diarmaid Conway (Clough-Ballacolla), Lee Cleere (Clough-Ballacolla), Cody Comerford (The Harps); Tom Cuddy (Camross), Podge Delaney (The Harps), Jordan Walshe (Clough-Ballacolla); Fiachra C-Fennell (Rosenallis), Paddy Purcell (Rathdowney-Errill); Aidan Corby (Clough-Ballacolla), Cha Dwyer (Ballinakill), David Dooley (Rosenallis); Tomas Keyes (Camross), Jer Quinlan (Borris-Kilcotton), Ben Conroy (Slieve Bloom)
