When they put their mind to it, the good folk in Clonaslee really pull off some brilliant community initiatives.
And this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade is another example of a local job done well.
“The Clonaslee St Patrick’s day committee would like to say thank you to all of its sponsors, volunteers, for all those who gave generously and the grand marshals the 1975 Laois senior winning hurling team and to everyone who made marvellous floats to make the 2025 parade such a success,” said the organisers in a brief statement.
“We would also like to thank the judges for their time and to all the local residents for their understanding and co-operation.”
This year’s parade once again went down a huge treat and the winners of the various categories were as follows.
