Kathleen Margaret McDonagh nee McDonagh 11 Riverside Park,Queensferry, UK. Died peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Sadly missed by her loving husband John, her adored sons, John Tyson, James, Arthur and Paddy, grandchildren, her daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing Moloneys Funeral Home Monday 10th from 3pm to 5pm.. Removal at 5.15pm to St Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise arriving for 6pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 11th at 11am. Burial after in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Mountmellick.

Anthony (Tony) Christie
Connolly Street, Mountmellick, Laois
Died suddenly at his home on Thursday 6th of March.
Tony is predeceased by his loving parents Kitty & Jack and his sister Veronica.
Tony will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Sheila, his sons Gary and Shane, daughters Lisa and Laura. Grandchildren Alex, Sophia, Conor, Saoirse. Goddaughter Hailey & little sister.
Ellie, Alannah, Daniel, Dylan and Ryan.
Daughters-in-law Kim & Aine, son-in-law Donell, mother-in-law Mary, brother-in-law John and his wife Gwen & sister-in-laws.
Extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends .
Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick (R32 PC95) on Saturday the 8th from 5pm to 7pm. Recital of The Rosary at 6.30pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning at 10.45am to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick arriving for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mountmellick.

Tony (Anthony) Lacey
Main St., Ballylinan, Laois, R14 PA02/Athy, Kildare
Peacefully, in the wonderful care of The Holy Family Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Athy, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Ann, dear father of Elizabeth, Eamon and Patrick. Tony will be dearly missed by his daughters-in-law Catherine and Elizabeth, brother Padraig, sister-in-law Rita, grandchildren Tomás, Seamus, Áine, Charles and Julie Ann, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family , neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence (R14 PA02) from 2pm on Friday afternoon (March 7th) with Rosary at 8.30pm on Friday evening . Reposing from 2pm on Saturday. Removal on Saturday evening to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan for prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Sunday morning (March 9th). Burial afterwards in Ballylinan Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Pat Mahon Rynn, Rosenallis, Laois.
Pat Mahon, Rynn, Rosenallis, Co. Laois died March 5th, 2025, peacefully at home. Loving husband of Marie and adored father of Amanda, Glen and Charlene. Predeceased by his dear parents Denis and Rose, and his brothers Charlie and Ned. Deeply regretted by his cherished wife and family, his treasured grandchildren, his sister, brothers, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his great circle of lifelong friends and neighbours.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Friday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 7.30pm. Removal from his home at 10.15am on Sunday arriving to St. Brigids Church, Rosenallis for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

Robert (Bobby) Young, Killenny The Heath Portlaoise. Died 6th March 2025. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Catherine, dearly loved father to Paul, Mary, Mark, Ann and Brenda. Cherished grandfather to Killian, Ava, Tess and Emily. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Breda and Ann, daughter in law Catherine, son in law Dermot and Brenda’s partner Kevin, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Recital of the rosary at 7:30pm. Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 10:30am to The Church of The Assumption, The Heath for 11am requiem mass followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
Philip Gerard Sheppard
Kilmenan Farm House, Ballyoskil, Attanagh, Laois, R32 D9W3/Durrow, Laois
Philip late of Ballyoskill and Sheppard’s Irish Auction House, Durrow, Co. Laois passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday 4th March 2025.
He is predeceased by his parents Tommy and Kathleen.
Philip will be sadly missed and is deeply regretted by his sons Barry and Patrick, his daughter Gina and their mother Barbara, his granddaughter Olivia Jane, his partner Colleen, brothers Bernard, Ger, Francis, John and Eugene, his cousins Declan, Míchael and David, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughter-in-law Meg, son-in-law Philip, his extended family and a large circle of friends both in Ireland and America.
Reposing at his residence (R32 D9W3) on Saturday 8th March 2025 at 2pm with prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday 9th March 2025 at 12pm in the Church of the Assumption, Ballyoskil, Co. Kilkenny with burial afterwards in Durrow cemetery, Durrow, Co. Laois (R32 CK11).
