Ballyfin man and Laois native Ryan Fitzpatrick has quickly made a name for himself in the world of digital media, content creation, and social media marketing.

With nearly a decade of industry experience, Ryan has worked with some of the most recognizable names from Laois and beyond, helping them grow their brands through high-quality video production, podcast editing, and strategic social media management.

For the past 18 months, Ryan has been self-employed, running a thriving digital media business where he specializes in cinematic videography, photography, content production, and social media growth.

His work has been instrumental in the success of several well-known Irish personalities and businesses.

Ryan currently works with David Cuddy, a Laois comedian and influencer, shooting, editing, and producing all of his YouTube content.

In addition, he plays a crucial role in producing and editing David’s podcast, “The Wood from the Trees”, which has grown into a popular platform for conversations with guests from all walks of life.

He also collaborates with ex-Laois footballer and current podcast host, Colm Parkinson, handling the editing and social media distribution for his “SmallerFish GAA Podcast”, ensuring that the show’s best moments reach the widest possible audience.

Beyond his work with influencers and content creators, Ryan has also played a pivotal role in helping local businesses establish their digital presence.

He was behind the impressive growth of The Wandering Elk Café’s Instagram account to 11,000 followers, using a combination of high-quality visuals and strategic content planning.

Currently, he manages the social media channels for Woodfire and Wings in Dublin, a rapidly growing restaurant brand.

Through content strategy, photography, videography, and targeted social campaigns, he has helped increase engagement and drive more customers to the business.

His work extends to the sports world as well, having recently worked with Portlaoise Basketball Club, producing content for the club he also plays for.

Ryan’s expertise in video marketing has also led him to create highly successful ad campaigns for local businesses, including Agvance Nutrition, an agricultural products company owned by brothers Noel and Adam Walsh.

His video content has helped boost brand awareness and drive engagement for the business, showcasing his ability to produce high-quality promotional material that delivers real results.

In addition to his work in digital marketing, Ryan has also made a name for himself in event photography, capturing major cultural events in Laois and beyond.

Most recently, he photographed Seanchaithe, the world-famous Irish storytelling event that takes place in venues across the globe.

The event he covered was held in Kavanagh’s, Portlaoise, and was hosted that day by fellow Laois man Fionn Phelan.

Ryan’s imagery from the event helped document and preserve this unique cultural experience.

Ryan’s impact on the digital landscape hasn’t gone unnoticed. He has been featured twice in LaoisToday’s list of top Instagram accounts over the years under his handle @bigryaners, a testament to his ability to create engaging and widely recognized content.

His photography work has also been featured on LaoisToday’s website, where he captured imagery for up-and-coming Laois band Byro, showcasing his ability to work across various industries and creative projects.

Ryan’s ability to blend creative storytelling with digital strategy has set him apart in the industry.

His work continues to grow, and his impact on Laois creators, businesses, and sports organizations is evident through the success of the brands he collaborates with.

“I’ve always loved creating content that connects with people,” says Ryan.

“Whether it’s producing a podcast, growing a brand’s online presence, or creating engaging video content, my goal is always to deliver high-quality digital media that makes an impact.”
