Carlow College, St. Patrick’s is opening its doors for its Spring Open Day on Thursday, March 6, from 10am – 1pm for school leavers, FE students, parents, teachers and those considering returning to education on a full or part-time basis.
The Spring Open Day provides the ideal opportunity for prospective students to learn more about the CAO courses offered by Carlow College, with programme talks for each course hosted through the day.
The College will also be running a series of events to celebrate International Women’s Day, as part of its Spring Open Day activities.
The flagship event will be a panel discussion celebrating Female Political Icons through the ages and will feature Carlow College Lecturers; Dr Sarah Otten, Steph Hanlon and Agnita Kenny, chaired by Michael Sherman, Chair of the Civic Engagement Hub at the College.
With direct bus routes from Laois and parking on campus for commuting students, Carlow College offers Laois students a great opportunity to student in arts, humanities and social sciences without needing to move or commute to a major city.
The Spring Open Day will run from 10am–1pm and also provides students with the opportunity to chat directly to College staff from lecturers, attend programme talks and learn more about admissions, Students’ Union and student supports.
