Local Enterprise Week 2025 takes place from March 3-7 with a large number of events and clinics taking place around Laois and are open to all to attend.
An initiative of the Local Enterprise Offices nationwide, supported by Enterprise Ireland and the local authorities, Local Enterprise Week offers many seminars and events in person and online most free of charge.
One-to-One Mentoring clinics are also available for anyone thinking of starting up their own business or running a business who would like an opportunity to speak with experts to discuss key areas from financial skills, export guidance to boosting their business online.
The events offer professional advice from experts as well as excellent networking opportunities.

International Women’s Day – Networking Event

Join Local Enterprise Office Laois for a Women in Business Network lunch in the Heritage Hotel in Killenard to celebrate International Womens Day.
Guest speaker is Laura Dowling aka The Fabulous Pharmacist.
Laura is a qualified pharmacist and scientist, having graduated in 2002. She won Pharmacist of the Year in 2022. Laura is passionate about sharing her knowledge of all things health related in an accessible, relatable manner via her social media under the alias @fabulouspharmacist.
Laura has 21 years experience in community pharmacy and aims to give her over 200k social media followers the tools to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle without resorting to short term crazes or fads.
