Seán Brennan, 7 Rathvarna, Killeshin, formerly of Ballyhide, Carlow and originally Arles, Co. Laois, February 11th 2025 peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise surrounded by his loving family. Seán is now reunited with his immensely missed son Seán Jnr.
Beloved husband of Caroline and adored father of Robert and Eoin. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter-in-law Niamh, brother Liam, sisters Catherine and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Pat, Mary, Vincent, Joe, Dan, Bernadette, Margaret and Séamus.
Reposing at his home (R93 FXY9) on Thursday from 2pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Friday to the Church of the Holy Cross, Killeshin to arrive for funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery with his beloved son Seán Jnr.

Jim passed away suddenly on the 8th February, 2025. Jim will be missed deeply by his loving wife Elizabeth, his daughters Anna, Louise and Ciara, sons Stephen and Patrick and his grandchildren Ella and Florence. Sadly missed by his heartbroken brothers John, Chris and Barry, sisters Bride and Shelia and by his extended family and friends. Gone to join his parents Paddy and Mary and dear sister Sally.
Jim will repose at his home at Model Farm, Athy (R14 V674) on Thursday and Friday from 2pm until 7pm. A celebration of his life will take place at 11am on Saturday the 15th of February at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy (R14 C826) , see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie Burial afterwards in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally.

Sr. Philomena Browne, Brigidine Convent, Tullow, Co. Carlow, 11th February, 2025, in the loving care of the staff at Barrow Ward, St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and her Brigidine Sisters. Pre-deceased by her parents Catherine and Patrick, sister Mary, brothers Vincent, Seamus and Charley.
Deeply regretted by her sisters Annette and Carmel, brother Frank, sister-in-law Helen, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, friends and her Brigidine Community.
Reposing in Brigidine Convent, Tullow on Wednesday 12th February from 3.30pm until 6.30pm. Removal will take place on Thursday at 8.30am to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, Co. Laois to arrive for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial will take place in adjoining Brigidine Convent Cemetery.
Fiona Booth (née Bradford)

Huntingdon Lodge, Gowran, Co Kilkenny and formerly of Mountmellick, Co Laois.
Fiona passed away unexpectedly on 9th February 2025. Beloved wife of Robert and cherished Mum of Conor and Emily.
Fiona will be deeply missed by her heartbroken husband and children, mother Margaret, brother Robert, parents-in-law Patrick and Julia Booth (Coolbanagher, Emo, Portlaoise), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends
Fiona is predeceased by her father Anthony Bradford.
Fiona’s family would like to thank in a special the members of An Garda Síochána, the Civil Defence, Kilkenny Sub Aqua and all others who helped and supported them during the past few days.
Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Wednesday (12th Feb) from 5pm to 8pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm.

Br. Finbarr (Jeremiah) O’Keeffe, De La Salle Brothers, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and late of Ruhillmore, Boherbue, Co. Cork. Died February 10th 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the community and staff of Miguel House.
Predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Mary, sisters Peggy Fitzgerald and Kathleen O’ Riordan, brothers Timmy and Matt.
Deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, many relatives and friends and especially by his confreres in religion and the staff in Miguel House Care Home.
Reposing in Miguel House (R32NX40) on Wednesday February 12th from 11am with Evening Prayer and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday February 13th at 12 Noon, followed by Burial immediately afterwards in the Monastery Cemetery, Castletown.

Passed away Sunday February 9th 2025, peacefully at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Predeceased by his parents, brother Charles & his wife Celia.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Corcoran, Shanbeg, Rosenallis, Co.Laois on Saturday the 8th of February at home, surrounded by his devoted family.
Sadly missed by his wife Anne, children Edel (Lynch), James, Brendan, Patrick, Teresa, Anne Marie (Buggy), Marese (Munnelly) & Breda (Leacy), his brother Alo and his sister Anne Usher, all his treasured grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in his home (R32 A393) from 5pm today Sunday 9th with Rosary at 8pm and all day Monday with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning at 11am to St. Brigid’s Church Rosenallis for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial after in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

O’Connell (née Murphy), Elizabeth (Lil) (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Stradbally, Co. Laois). Passed away peacefully on February 8th 2025, at Connolly Hospital with her family by her side.
Predeceased by her sister Bridie and brother John. Beloved wife of the late Jeremiah (Jerry), much loved mother of Marguerite, Niall and Jerome and devoted grandmother to Aaron, Connor, Ciara and Nathan. Will be very sadly missed by her daughter, sons, grandchildren, son-in-law Malachy, daughter-in-law Samantha, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Monday evening (February 10th) between 5pm and 7pm.
Removal on Tuesday morning (February 11th) to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery.

Predeceased by her husband Gerard (Gerry). Sadly missed by her children Michael, Gerard, John and Patrick, daughter-in-law Denise, grandchildren Robert, Jessica, Sophie, Tia and Bowie, great-grandchildren Freddy and Frankie, sisters Breda, Deloris and Theresa, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Clarecastle, on Tuesday (11th Feb.) at 11 am. Burial afterwards in Clarehill Cemetery, Clarecastle.
