Scoil Chriost Ri have qualified for the All-Ireland U-14 ‘A’ Cup semi-final following a clean sweep of wins at the recent Cup tournament.

The Laois girls had a terrific overtime win against Oranmore Galway in the opening game – 55 to 48.

This meant that victory over Teresian Dublin would ensure that they would win the tournament – and they did by 52-32.

Most of the team are 1st Years which bodes well for the 1st Year Championships and for their future years at the school.

The team showed great character, resilience, skill and teamwork throughout the tournament.
