Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family at The Residence Portlaoise.

Predeceased by his sister Betty (Mc Wey).Cherished and much loved husband of Marie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, sister Ann, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Micheal and their families, his nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours,former work colleagues and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing on Wednesday the 5th in St. Patrick’s Church Ballyroan from 5pm. with Rosary at 7.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12noon. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Egan, Sr. de Sales (Lil)
Presentation Sisters, Mountmellick, Laois

Egan, Sr. de Sales (Lil), Presentation Sisters Mountmellick, Co. Laois and formerly of ClonasleeCo. Laois. On the 2nd February 2025, peacefully, in the tender care of the Staff of the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

Predeceased by her parents Mary and Andrew, her sisters, Srs. Raphael (Sheila) Ita (Brigid) PVBM Srs. Maureen and Christine SJC, her brothers John and Joe PJ (Brother Raphael FSC}, Michael (Bro. Gabriel FSC). Deeply regretted by her special cousins, Presentation Sisters, her past pupils and many friends.

Reposing at Presentation Convent Mountmellick on Tuesday from 3pm to 5.30. Removal to St. Joseph’s Parish Church for Evening Prayer at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Arcagar Mountmellick.

Gallows Hill, Ennis, Clare/Errill, Laois/Galway City, Galway

Kathleen Lee (née Kennedy) – Gallows Hill, Ennis, Co. Clare & formerly of Rossmore, Errill, Co. Laois – Feb. 2nd. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff in University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by her husband Dr. Vivian Lee, brothers Mick, Fr. Jim, Joe & Seán, sisters Ann, Nellie & May

Sadly missed by her children; daughters Rachal, Ann & Lorna, sons John & George, sons-in-law Shaun, Declan & Michael, daughter-in-law Libby, grandchildren Katie, Jack, Enda, Nancy, Emily, Lily May, Declan, Cole & Vivien, brother Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends neighbours & her wide circle of friends.

Reposing on Tuesday in Daly’s Mortuary Chapel, Francis St., Ennis from 6 o’clock to 7 o’clock with removal to Ss Peter & Paul Cathedral Ennis. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Bothermore Cemetery Galway.

Teresa Kealy (née Cranny)
Athy, Kildare/Ballylinan, Laois

Teresa Kealy (née Cranny) late of Enfield, London and formerly Ballylinan and Athy, passed away suddenly in the loving care of the staff of St. Theresas Care Home, Bush Hill Park, London.

Predeceased by her husband Sean and deeply regretted by her daughters Maria (Mitchell), Margaret, Michele and her son John. Grandchildren John, David, Lucy, Victoria and Harriet. Great grandchildren Zachary, Matilda, Joshua, India, Hudson and Finley. nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives, extended family and friends.

Teresa’s Requiem Mass in London will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. George, Enfield, on 29th January followed by repatriation from London to Athy.

Teresa will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mt. Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, from 2.30pm until removal at 4.30pm to St. Ann’s Church, Ballylinan, Co. Laois for reception prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 6th February, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
