The St Patrick’s Day parade in Clonaslee has really gathered momentum since the community belatedly got it up and running for the first time in 2022.
Plans had been afoot to have one in 2020 though the Coronavirus pandemic put a stop to that particular project.
But the hard-working group behind it eventually got their day and it has developed into a fantastic event over the past couple of weeks.
This Friday night, February 7, they will officially launch their plans for 2025 in the Heritage Centre in Clonaslee.
It promises to be a great evening’s entertainment where they will be recapping the successes of the recent past parades – as well as unveiling some exciting news about this year’s parade.
The launch gets underway at 7.30pm where all are welcome and refreshments will be served afterwards.
