MATCH OFF – National Football League Division 3 clash between Laois and Leitrim postponed

The National Football League Division 3 meeting between Leitrim and Laois has been postponed.

A statement from Laois GAA this morning confirmed that the game is off due to ‘no electricity’.

Leitrim play their home games in Carrick-on-Shannon but due to works on that facility, the game had been switched to Ballinamore.

However, the game is now off and a refixture date has already been confirmed.

The game will be played in Ballinamore at 2pm on Sunday, January 26, instead.

Laois’s second game will be against Offaly in O’Moore Park next weekend.

That game is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, and will throw in at 4pm.

It is part of a double header with the Laois senior hurlers who face the same opponents at the same venue at 2pm.

We will bring you live coverage of the game on Sunday.
