James Carroll, Hillside View, Clonaslee (R32 D2Y9) and formerly of Ballybritt, Roscrea Co. Tipperary, passed away suddenly on 24th January 2025.
James was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Ita.
Beloved husband of Eliz; cherished father of Marna, Alma and Martin; adored grandfather to Arthur, Jude, Lughaidh, Eve, Holly, Ava and Croia, he is deeply regretted by his brother John and sisters Noreen, Pauline, Mary and Monica; sons in law Daniel and James, daughter-in-law Sínead; brothers-in-law, sister-in/law, nieces and nephews, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Teresa Kealy (née Cranny) late of Enfield, London and formerly Ballylinan and Athy, passed away suddenly in the loving care of the staff of St. Theresas Care Home, Bush Hill Park, London.
Predeceased by her husband Sean and deeply regretted by her daughters Maria (Mitchell), Margaret, Michele and her son John. Grandchildren John, David, Lucy, Victoria and Harriet. Great grandchildren Zachary, Matilda, Joshua, India, Hudson and Finley. nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives, extended family and friends.
Teresa’s Requiem Mass in London will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. George, Enfield, on 29th January followed by repatriation from London to Athy.
Teresa will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mt. Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, from 2.30pm until removal at 4.30pm to St. Ann’s Church, Ballylinan, Co. Laois for reception prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 6th February, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Barbara Anne Delaney
Esker, Ballyfin, Laois
Formerly of Greenmill Lane/ St. Brigids, and Late of Esker, Ballyfin. Whom passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of nurses and staff of Tullamore Hospital. Pre deceased by her loving husband Brendan, her son Kieran, and brothers Shawn and Robert. Adored mother of Angela, Kelley, Tracy, Brendan, Sean and Laura. Deeply regretted by her loving family; brother Neil, sister June, grandchildren, great-grandson, sons in law, daughters in law, sisters in law Linda and Lesley, close friends Margaret and Geraldine, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise, on Sunday, 26th January, from 3pm- 5.30pm, with Rosary Recital at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, 27th January, at 11am in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, followed by interment in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Peacefully at The Curragh Lawn Nursing Home, Kinneagh, Curragh, Co. Kildare surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Richard (Dick) brothers Eddie, Maurice, Mick, Billy and sisters Kathleen and Angela. Deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by her son Nicholas (Newbridge) and daughter Julianne (Malahide), daughter-in-law Marilyn, son-in-law Conor, adored grandchildren Finn, Barry, Jamie, Sarah-Molly and Abbie-Mae, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Unexpectedly at Home. Predeceased by her grand-daughter Makayla. Peacefully in her sleep while in the tender care of the staff of Kilminchy Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Joe, daughters Noreen and Bernadette and her son Darby. Mary Ita will be sadly missed by her loving family Jim, Joe, Declan, Philomena and Martha along with her extended family, grandsons and granddaughters to whom she was very close with, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10:20am arriving St John’s Church, Killenard for Requiem Mass at 11am after which Mary Ita will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Noel O’Toole, Grove Park, Mountmellick, Laois, formerly Balrothery Estate Tallaght and late of Dublin Corporation and a proud member of Mountmellick Men’s Shed, on January 22nd, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife, Phil, daughters Diane and Catriona, son, Niall, Daughter-in-law Michelle, and Son-in-law, Dan, adored grandchildren Conor, Kate, Matthew, Luke, Tegan, Lauren, and Tiernan, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews. Also, sadly missed by his extended family, friends and wonderful neighbours.

She died suddenly at her home on Wednesday 22nd January 2025.
Predeceased by her husband Nicky, her brother Donal, sister Sr. Mary and son-in-law James.
Deeply regretted by her daughters Marian and Yvonne and her son Niall.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Martin and her parents Nicholas and Kathleen. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trish Kelley, née Lawlor (Nurse Kelley, Glenard Clinic) after an illness bourne with great courage and dignity, surrounded by her loving family, friends and the staff of Dún Aine (St. Vincent’s, CNU Mountmellick).
Beloved wife of the late Eddy. Trish was deeply loved by her brothers Michael (R.I.P.) John, Dermot, Gerry and sister Doris (Flannery) and by her extended family and friends who she cherished.

The death has occurred of Martin Cuddy, Ballinrally, Camross, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, on the 21st January 2025 peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Sheila, sister Teresa and brother Joe. Survived by his brother Oliver, sisters Mary Leeman, Sheila Dowling, Rita Keenan, and Carmel Waters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath on Thursday evening (23rd January) from 5.0’clock concluding with Rosary at 7.0’clock. Thomas O’Connor, 1 Lord Edward St, Mountmellick, Co. Laois and late of Shronebeirne, Kilmorna, Listowel, Co. Kerry.
Thomas passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Tallaght University Hospital on Sunday 19th January 2025 after being taken ill suddenly the previous Friday.
Thomas is predeceased by his father Jimmy, his mother Betty and his baby sister Carmel.
Thomas, adored father, grandfather, brother, uncle and grand-uncle is dearly missed by his heartbroken family: his son Timothy, daughter-in-law Gemma, his grandchildren, Mireya, Tierni, Cillian and Torryn, his brothers John and Jim, sisters Mary Jo, his twin sister Eileen, Leisha and Trina, his brothers-in-law; Neilus, Eddie, Charles and Conny, sister-in-law Noreen and Jim’s partner Ruth, his nieces and nephews, his aunt-in-law Nora, his girlfriend Rita, his relatives and many friends.

Peacefully on Tuesday, 21st January 2025, at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by her family, after a long illness borne with her characteristic courage, determination, and grace.
Predeceased by her parents Bill and Anna.
