Peacefully in the care of Ballard Lodge Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Sean. Deeply regretted by her son Jonathan, sister Deidre, and brothers Pat and Declan , nieces , nephews , relatives and friends.
Reposing in the Chapel of Rest adjoining the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix from 5pm. on Thursday with prayers at 7 pm. Requiem Mass on Friday in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix at 2.30 pm. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Tom Dunne
Glasnevin, Dublin/Ballybrittas, Laois
DUNNE, Tom (late of Glasnevin and formerly of Ballybrittas, Co Laois and late of SIPTU) 22nd December 2024 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff of the Mater Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Tom, beloved husband of Mary and devoted father of Declan, David and Veronica.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons and daughter, daughters-in-law Roisín and Clodagh, son-in-law Liam, cherished grandchildren Luke, Niamh, Claire, Thomas, Daniel, Aobhin and Aoife, brother Peter, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours and many work colleagues.
Reposing in the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West on Sunday (29th December) from 4pm to 6pm with family in attendance.
Funeral on Monday morning (30th December) to Our Lady of Victories Church, Ballymun Road arriving for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Cemetery for burial.
Lorraine Lyons (née Tyrrell)

Predeceased by her mother Angela and brother David.
Deeply regretted by her husband John, son Ricky, father Sonny, sisters Martina and Debbie, father-in-law Richy, mother-in- law Jane, brothers-in-law Ger, Dickie, Jimmy, Shane, sisters-in-law Sinead , Marcella, Emma and Laura, nephews Philip, Andrew, Cian, Jaiden, Cody, Evan and Dillian, nieces Katie, Ella, Meave and Alana and a large circle of family and friends.
Reposing at her father’s residence Tullyroe Abbeyleix from 4pm. on Thursday with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix for Requiem Mass at 12 Noon. Interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Marie Nolan (née Sheehan)
Dundrum, Dublin/Portlaoise, Laois
NOLAN (née Sheehan), Marie – (Dundrum, Dublin and late of Portlaoise), peacefully at Blackrock Hospital, 23rd December 2024. Beloved wife of the late Gerry and much loved mum of Geraldine, Declan, Amanda and Cathal. Predeceased by her brother Seamus. Deeply regretted by her family, granddaughters Ella and Alana, sister Angela, brothers Eamon and Frank, sons-in-law Donal and Aditya, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the C.C.Unit Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
Loving husband of the late Myra (née Hughes) and dear brother of the late Tom, Jim and Peter. Deeply regretted by his loving family David, Michelle and Noel, his very close nephews Peter and James (Ginger), his adoring grandchildren Lorna, Michael, Kim, Katie, Séan, Ciaran, Aisling, Pheilim, John and Fianna, sons-in-law Eddie Finlay, daughter-in-law Shauna O ‘Kane, sister Mary, brother Noel, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his son Noel’s residence Killmullen, Portarlington (R32 E2N5) on Thursday 26th December from 3pm with Rosary at 7pm.
Removal on Friday morning 27th December at 10:50am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Ita Kennedy (née Murphy)
Portlaoise, Laois/Carrickmacross, Monaghan
Ita Kennedy (nee Murphy), Dunmasc, Portlaoise and late of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan. Formerly Kennedy’s Chemist, Main St. Portlaoise. Ita passed away peacefully on 23rd December 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Wife of the late John; dearly loved mother to Jean, Paul, Anne, Gráinne, Fionnuala, and Enda; mother-in-law to Frank, Helen, Philip and Alain; cherished grandmother to Jean, Seán, Ellen, Liam, Áine, John, Aidan and Noah. Also sadly missed by sister-in-law Gretta, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and former customers.
Reposing at Keegans funeral home Portlaoise on Friday 27th December from 5 pm until 7 pm; removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon mass and followed by burial in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery Portlaoise.
