Formerly of Corbally House, Quin County Clare, Blackhill House, Abbeyleix and Killenard, Portarlington County Laois. Deirdre died peacefully at home Saturday 21st December 2024. Dearly beloved wife of the late Dr. John (Jack). Loving and devoted mother to Siobhan, Eoin, Clodagh, Gearoid, Kevin and Grainne. Grandmother to Clare, Conor, Anthony, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jack, Olivia and Lora. Great-grandmother to Laragh, Séana, Seamie, Beatrice, Hailey and Caelan, Deeply missed by her loving sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Richard, nieces, nephews, relatives and her many friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington County Laois (eircode R32 X5XV) on Monday evening 23rd December from 5pm with Removal at 6:50pm arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington County Laois (eircode R32 HY38) for Reception Prayers at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass in St Michael’s Church Portarlington on Tuesday morning 24th December at 10am followed by burial afterwards in St John’s Cemetery Killenard, Portarlington County Laois (eircode R32 VW77) along with the Interment of the ashes of her beloved husband Jack.

Br. James (Timothy) O’Sullivan, De La Salle Brothers, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and late of Lehid, Tuosist, Killarney, Co. Kerry. Died December 21st 2024, peacefully in the loving care of the community and staff of Miguel House.
Predeceased by his parents James and Mary, sisters and brothers. Deeply missed by his brother, Brother Killian, nieces, nephews, relations and friends and especially by his confreres in religion and the staff in Miguel House.
Reposing in Miguel House (R32NX40) on Sunday December 22nd from 11am with Evening Prayer and Rosary at 6.30pm on Sunday evening. Funeral Mass on Monday December 23rd at 12 Noon, followed by Burial immediately afterwards in the Monastery Cemetery, Castletown.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Attracta, sons Barry and Kieran, daughter Claire, brothers Christy and Thomas, sisters Betty and Bridie, Kieran’s partner Paulina, brothers-in-law Michael, Brendan, Raymond and Seán, Bridie’s partner Michael, grandson Óisin, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Rigney’s Funeral Home, Athy on Sunday evening (December 22nd) from 5pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday morning (December 23rd) to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Barrowhouse for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
